Body of missing teen with autism found in U.P.

PAULDING, MI -- The body of a missing Michigan teen with non-verbal autism was found Monday after a three-day search. According to the Associated Press, Cam Besonen’s body was found at some point in the day but the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office did not share details about where the body was found or who found him.

Teen with autism remains missing in Paulding area

HAIGHT TOWNSHIP, MI-- Hundreds of people continue to search for an Ontonagon County teen missing since Friday. Cam Besonen is autistic and nonverbal. His mother, Jill Keeley-Besonen, says he was last seen Friday around 5:45 p.m. at his home in Paulding. He was wearing a blue, long-sleeve shirt and light blue jeans.

Aspirus Ontonagon offers daily vaccination opportunities

ONTONAGON, MI-- Aspirus Health is offering COVID-19 vaccinations daily at its Ontonagon clinic. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are offered. The Pfizer vaccine is the only one approved for use in teens aged 16 and 17. Vaccinations through the clinic are available by appointment only and will be limited to about 20 people daily, Monday through Friday.

Gogebic County tops 1,000 total COVID cases
