A jail-related death is under investigation Monday. Angela J. Brown, 55, was arrested in Brentwood after being accused of shoplifting.

CLAYTON (KMOV) - Police are searching for three suspects who they say robbed a woman on the parking lot of the Walgreens in Clayton Saturday. The incident happened just after 1:45 a.m. Police tell News 4 that two of the suspects confronted the victim, pulled out handguns, and demanded her wallet and car keys.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - Police are investigating a double shooting in north St. Louis City late Monday night. The shooting took place in the 6000 block of Lucille at around 11:43 p.m. Police said a woman was shot in the face and a man was shot in the hand. Both are conscious and breathing. Police have no suspects at this time.

JERSEYVILLE - A Godfrey man charged with felony domestic battery was among felony filings recently by the Jersey County State's Attorney's Office. Andrew M. Mathis, 29, of Godfrey, was charged June 23 with aggravated domestic battery, a Class 2 felony.

Investigators say speed played a factor when the car driven by a 13-year-old slammed into a tree and caught fire. Investigators have not said how the boys got a car.

EDWARDSVILLE - Two people were charged Friday with possession of methamphetamine in separate incidents by the Madison County State's Attorney's Office. Patsy A. Heitzig, 35, of South Roxana, was charged June 24 with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony.

A 13-year-old driver who survived a fiery car crash in which three passengers were killed has been charged with three counts of manslaughter.
