The ceremony officially recognized the achievements and accomplishments that all too often go without proper recognition. Officers were recognized for their dedication, service, bravery, and devotion to the department and the citizens of Indiana. Employee Dispute Ends in Death

A shooting at the Bolivar One-Stop, 320 W. Market Street, resulted in a death and an arrest connected to it. On Sunday, June 19, at approximately 10:03 p.m., Bolivar Police officers responded to the scene and discovered Mahmoude Saleh deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Through further investigation, in collaboration with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), a 26-year-old male, Khalil Abuzaid, a co-worker, was identified as a suspect.
