Kevin Spacey charged in UK with 4 counts of sexual assault

LONDON (AP) — British prosecutors have charged actor Kevin Spacey with four counts of sexual assault against three men. The Crown Prosecution Service said Thursday that Spacey “has also been charged with causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.” Rosemary Ainslie, head of the service’s Special Crime Division, said the charges follow a review of evidence gathered by London’s Metropolitan Police. Spacey, a 62-year-old double Academy Award winner, was questioned by British police in 2019 about claims by several men that he had assaulted them. The former “House of Cards” star ran London’s Old Vic Theatre between 2004 and 2015. The U.K. charges were announced as Spacey was testifying in a courtroom in New York City in a civil lawsuit.

Former eastern Ky. deputy pleads guilty to inducing child to have sex

A former Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputy has pled guilty to trying to induce a child to have sex. Kentucky State Police said 30-year-old Brandon Edwards, of Manchester, pled guilty earlier this week to unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities. The charge is a class D felony.

Claudia was born, November 28, 1943, to the late Cecil and Stella Wilson Lowe. She enjoyed her time with the farm taking care of the cattle, tobacco, gardening and hay. She was a member of the Rose Dale Missionary Baptist Church in Rose Hill, VA. Claudia cooked at Lee Regional Hospital for over 25 years.
