Driver shot during road rage incident in Cherokee County, deputies say

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. - A possible road rage shooting in Cherokee County injured a driver on Thursday evening. Deputies were called out around 7:18 p.m. to the corner of Highway 92 and Woodstock. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said a Woodstock police officer witnesses the incident and performed a traffic stop on the suspected shooter.

Smyrna Police ask public for help finding 'armed and dangerous' suspect in connection to Five Points homicide

SMYRNA, Ga. — Smyrna Police are asking the public for help finding a suspect in connection to the shooting death of 22-year-old Michael Ezzard Jr. on the night of May 16. Ezzard Jr. was shot and killed in the Five Points Shopping Center at the 1600-block of Roswell Street shortly before 10 p.m on May 16. Authorities are looking for Terrill Anton Jones in connection to Ezzard Jr.'s death.

Georgia teen with Hernando County ties missing for more than two weeks, investigators say

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - Investigators are searching for a missing Georgia teen who has ties to Brooksville, according to the deputies in Georgia. Kaylee Jones, 16, was last seen in the area of Whooping Creek Road in Carrollton, Georgia on June 14, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office confirmed. The teen's family moved to Georgia about a year ago from Brooksville in Hernando County, and investigators said they still have family and friends in the area.

WOODSTOCK, Ga. (CBS46) - Shots were fired during a road rage incident Thursday on Highway 92 in Woodstock. Police say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. They say a red pickup and a blue BMW were sitting side by side at a red light when the driver of the red pickup truck shot into the BMW, striking that driver twice.
