Tony Thomas Family Karate -- Business of the Week Update

Tony Thomas, founder and co-owner of Tony Thomas Family Karate, was recently certified as a 10th-Degree Black Belt in Karate. Over his long career competing in karate tournaments and teaching karate, Thomas has racked up numerous awards. He was inducted into the South Carolina Black Belt Hall of Fame on August 17, 2013 in Myrtle Beach. He is also a member of the National Black Belt Hall of Fame, as well as the South Carolina State University Physical Education Hall of Fame.

Eastbound lanes reopen after I-26 crash near Harleyville

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The eastbound side of I-26 has fully reopened after an early-morning crash in Dorchester County blocked all lanes. The crash was reported near mile marker 182, about four miles east of the Harleyville exit, at 6:50 a.m., the Highway Patrol says. For more than an hour, all eastbound lanes had been blocked.

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCSC) - Walterboro Police say they found a missing 15-year-old girl who deputies in Richmond County, Georgia said had run away from home. 6-year-old identified in deadly drive-by shooting

ORANGEBURG, SC (WACH) — The Orangeburg County Coroner's Office has identified the six-year-old that was shot and killed Friday. According to the report, Winston Hunter was pronounced dead on the scene at Mclain Street in Orangeburg. Officials say an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
