Sheep shearing an annual tradition at Free Soil farm

FREE SOIL — Seniors from Manistee and Mason counties got a "hands-on" experience this week during an annual event at Circle Rocking S Children's Farm in Free Soil. Residents from Green Acres Manistee and seniors living in Wellston, Irons, Custer, Scottville and Ludington were able touch and feel sheep wool before and after it was sheared.
