BLYTHEVILLE Ark. (KAIT) - Many people are anxious for classes to start back, but one community came together this past weekend to pray for their school students and staff. Between 100 to 150 people, including students of all ages and school staff, formed a prayer circle outside the Blytheville Public Schools Administration building.

MHHS golf teams sweep Gosnell at Big Creek

The Mountain Home High School golf teams had a successful day at Big Creek Golf and Country Club as they were able to sweep Gosnell. The Lady Bombers defeated the Lady Pirates 285-318. One dead, another in custody, in connection to motorcycle wreck

One person has been taken into custody in connection to a fatal motorcycle wreck. Officials with the Malden Department of Public Safety report that authorities are investigating a vehicle versus motorcycle crash that occurred on July 31st near State Highway J and Palo Verde Street. The operator of the motorcycle, identified only as a 36-year-old man from Bernie, was transported to a Poplar Bluff hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Officials say that the driver of the vehicle, 45-year-old Tawny Divietro, of Malden, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. She is being held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on a no bond warrant.
