BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. — Sheldon Jeter Jr., 22, was found guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday. Jury deliberating in murder trial of Sheldon Jeter Jr. in Beaver County. Jeter was charged with the May 15, 2020, killing of 30-year-old Tyric Pugh. Jeter allegedly fired his .380 semiautomatic handgun seven times, striking Pugh five times in the head, once in the upper left chest, and once in the wriest.

(New Beaver, PA) – Pennsylvania State Police have reported via release that on June 23rd, 2021 at approximately 1:12 a.m., they responded to a business alarm at Ferrante Upholstering at 3384 State Route 18 in New Beaver. Upon entering the scene, State Police discovered one of the outside panes of glass on the west face of the business was shattered by unknown reasons, causing approximately $300.00 worth of damage. New data shows the pandemic has created a “baby bust” as the national birth rate has plummeted. But that’s apparently not the case here in Pittsburgh.
PITTSBURGH — Covid cases in Pennsylvania, as well as Allegheny and Westmoreland counties, have slowed to a trickle this month, according to our news partners at TribLive. June started with an average of more than 700 cases a day in the state and has fallen to averaging less than 200 a day as of Wednesday. In Allegheny County, cases were slowing in May, but have been averaging in the teens in the past week. Westmoreland County has reported a total of 18 cases in the past week.
