A 160-acre section of land around Wolf Creek west of Bettsville is to be restored as a nature area. The project, led by Black Swamp Conservancy, is funded by a $2,767,500 grant from the state's H2Ohio program, said Christina Kuchle, Northwest Region Scenic River manager with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Natural Areas and Preserves.
