AUGUSTA, Maine — The Augusta Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity on Glenwood Drive at 1:39 a.m. on Friday, authorities say. A news release from Augusta Police Department Deputy Chief Kevin D. Lully stated authorities now believe there may be multiple missing persons, a family including one adult and four children.

Bristol man charged in double homicide in Maine

A Bristol man was captured in Maryland Friday in connection to a double homicide in Maine earlier in June, according to Maine State Police. David Barnett, 34, also known as “Slim,” was arrested outside of an apartment complex in Rockville, Maryland on Friday afternoon on a murder warrant, Maine State Police announced in a press release.

Man Killed Crossing NJ Turnpike After Motorcycle Crash

WOOLWICH — A Pennsylvania man who crossed the New Jersey Turnpike on foot after losing control of his motorcycle was struck and killed Thursday night. State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said Andrew M. Aaron, 48, of Glenolden, PA, hit a guardrail and wound up on the left shoulder near Exit 2 in Woolwich around 9:50 PM. Aaron got up and crossed the two lanes of the road and was struck in the right lane by a Lexus.
