Moscow Artwalk is set to debut at its new location ‘The Box Gallery’

MOSCOW, Idaho — The City of Moscow and Moscow Arts Commission is welcoming the Moscow Artwalk to a new location. Members of the Moscow community are invited to the event at the grand opening of “The Box Gallery,” an art exhibit that was recently added to the Arts Department office at City Hall. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to introduce the new building to the community at 4 p.m. outside the Arts Department office, located on the first floor of City Hall.

Free Summer Movies at the University of Idaho to Begin Friday, June 18

MOSCOW - Classic throwbacks, suspenseful action and comedies will be center stage at the University of Idaho during this year’s FREE 2021 Summer Cinema event. The Department of Student Involvement, in conjunction with Administrative Operations and Auxiliary Services, has scheduled a FREE movie series this summer. Half of the movies will be shown as a part of the Screen on the Green series on the Theophilus Tower Lawn; the other half at the Moscow Drive-In at the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center parking lot (Lot 57).

Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre reopening

The Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in Moscow plans to reopen Friday after being closed for 16 months during the pandemic. The center remains committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming experience to all patrons and will continue to monitor and follow Centers for Disease Control and governmental mandates as they are updated, Christine Gilmore, the center’s executive director said in an email. “Ultimately, our goal is to provide a level of transparency and openness that allows guests, renters and staff to make informed choices about returning to our venue while not promising anything that is beyond our control.”
