CALDWELL, Idaho — If you're a fan of the Idaho Vandals or the NFL, you might see a familiar face on the College of Idaho sidelines during the 2022 football season. Mike Iupati was an All-Pro NFL offensive lineman, with stops in Seattle, Arizona and San Francisco. With his playing days behind him, Iupati's latest career move brings him to Caldwell.

Home prices in Moscow are cooling off. According to a post on the Latah County website, the average price for a home sold in Moscow over the last 6 months was about 482,000 dollars. That’s down from roughly 523,000 dollars in July.

Scoular Donates $500K To UI’s CAFE

Scoular recently announced a $500,000 donation to the University of Idaho to help fund the CAFE initiative. When complete, CAFE, the Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment, will include a 2,000-cow research dairy and 640 acre demonstration farm near Rupert. When construction is complete, the facility will be the largest research dairy center in the nation. Andy Howieler says Scoular made this donation because it gives the company a chance to recognize and support what the U of I is doing for the dairy industry and individual farmers.

University of Idaho updates Vandals on COVID-19 protocols

President Scott Green has announced COVID-19 policies for the University of Idaho this fall. The decision comes due to the uptick of COVID-19 variants over the summer. Masking is still optional on campus and in university facilities, with free rapid tests and masks available at information desks. Green also encouraged getting vaccinated and to report when you test positive.

Latah County Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Benewah County Fugitive Near Harvard

Latah County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested the fugitive out of Benewah County who had been hiding in the woods North of Harvard. The sheriff’s office received a call Sunday morning about a suspicious person walking on Old River Road just outside of town. Deputies responded and located Archie Hicks walking along the road. He was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the jail in Moscow.
