Hackettstown gas at $2.87 per gallon? This is the cheapest fill-up in town

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) For bargain hunters there may be no better target than gas, with the cheapest station in the Hackettstown area offering savings of $0.30 per gallon. According to a survey by GasBuddy, BP at 17 State Route 57 was the cheapest station in the area, with regular listed at $2.87 per gallon at the pumps Wednesday. That was compared to Sinclair at 341 Us-46 E, where a gallon of regular was selling for $3.17.

Deadly shooting outside Queens building

A man was shot dead in front of a Queens apartment building, police said. Wayne Joseph, 29, took bullets in the torso and right thigh on Quencer Road near Dunkirk St. in Jamaica around 10:45 p.m. Friday, police said. EMS rushed Joseph to Jamaica Hospital, where he died.
