2 Vehicle Crash Leads to Grant County Man’s Death; Infant Involved

According to a report from the Grant County Sheriffs office, a rural Glen Haven man was killed in a two vehicle crash, during which his toddler was in the car on Wednesday morning (6/29). The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says, 33-year-old Nathan Williams crossed the center line on Highway 61 south of Boscobel, driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, and collided with a Freightliner semi heading in the opposite direction. Williams did not appear to be wearing a seat belt. He and his son were taken to an area hospital. The toddler was examined. Williams was later pronounced dead. The Dubuque truck driver was uninjured in the crash, which remains under investigation. More details as it unfolds.

Lancaster man dies in Grant Co. crash

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A Lancaster man died Thursday morning when the van he was riding in collided with a semi in rural Grant County, the Sheriff’s Office reports. According to its statement, Emmanuel Garcia Ortiz, 34, was the passenger in a 2008 Ford Econoline van that was heading west on Hwy. 18, near the eastern border of the county. Investigators determined the van was turning onto Bethel Road around 11:45 a.m. when it was struck by an oncoming semi, sending both vehicles into a cornfield.

Jena M. Keller

Jena M. Keller, 89, of Richland Center, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Our House Senior Living facility in Richland Center. Jena was born on May 24, 1933 to Willard and Lula (Edgerly) Rohn. She was the oldest of six children. She graduated from Lone Rock High School in 1951 and married Theron E. Keller on June 2, 1951. They celebrated 52 years of marriage before his passing in 2002.
