DJ Steve Aoki's first pitch in 50 Cent territory

World-renowned DJ Steve Aoki was on hand to throw out the first pitch prior to Monday’s game between the Astros and Red Sox at Fenway Park. Aoki sailed his first pitch way over home plate and managed to get it up onto the netting over the seats. The pitch rivals some of the most notorious first pitches of all time, from 50 Cent's to Carly Rae Jepsen's, but at least no one got hurt this go-round.

The Dolly Llama, a waffle and artisanal ice cream brand based in Los Angeles, is debuting in Texas when it opens May 28 in Houston at 2817 Howell St. Husband and wife duo, Trenton and Joy Judson, who have over 25 years experience in the restaurant and food service industries, will operate the brand.

Orleans Seafood Kitchen moves opening date for Fulshear location

The opening date for the second Orleans Seafood Kitchen has been moved from spring of this year to summer this year, according to the restaurant's website and Facebook page. The new restaurant will be located in Fulshear at 6230 FM 1463. It will feature a 1,385-square-foot patio and multiple televisions in the bar and patio area, as previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper. The New Orleans-inspired restaurant also has another location in Katy located at 20940 Katy Freeway G and owned by Chance Comstock and Marcus Payavla.

Payton Moore, a resident of Sugar Land, Texas, managed to catch and release an 8-foot, 300-pound alligator gar in a bayou near Houston. When he first hooked the fish, he thought he snagged a tree or something else in the water, but quickly realized that it was just a huge fish. Moore filmed himself catching the massive alligator gar, and you can see him struggle as he attempts to reel it in.
