Jefferson City Council nixes talk on parking garage, approves scooter plan

Plans for a new parking garage to be built in downtown Jefferson City are put to rest for now. The Jefferson City Council has been debating purchasing two properties on W. McCarty Street to serve as the site of new four-story parking garage. But the City Council pulled the item off the informal calendar at its meeting last night. Last night had been the deadline to vote on the issue.
