WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The rest of Father’s Day will be warm, most places see a high close to 100. Monday things change, a cold front pushes through tomorrow morning. We will have a high in the mid 80′s and most of the day looks to stay in the 70′s. Rain chances increase in the afternoon, scattered showers will be possible. Tuesday will be dry with a high in the mid 80′s as well. After that things warm back up into the 90′s for the rest of the week.

Affidavit says 1-year-old weighed 8 pounds at time of death, parents arrested

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Authorities released the warrants for two parents arrested in connection with the death of their 1-year-old child last week in northern Texas. Wichita Falls police arrested Sage Wright, 22, and Christian Bishop-Torrence, 24, Friday, June 18, serving two warrants for Injury to a Child, Elderly, or Disabled Person with intent of causing serious bodily injury or mental injury.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - This morning a cold front pushes through, bringing with it cooler temperatures and slight rain chances. Expect temps in the 70′s and low 80′s today, winds will be out of the northeast at about 15-20 mph. Winds could gust up to 30 mph. Weather models suggest scattered showers will be possible, mostly across our eastern counties. Our best chances to see any precipitation will be between noon and 6 pm. Tonight we could drop into the 50′s before another mild day tomorrow. Tuesday’s high will be in the mid 80′s. By Wednesday we climb back into the mid 90′s.

The Red River Authority said the boil water advisory, which was issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, is due to a leak causing reduced distribution system pressure in the water system. They added that boiling water would help get rid of any harmful bacteria and other microbes.
