BRANSON, Mo. (KY3) - The Branson Board of Alderman held a study session to look for ways to address ongoing panhandling and homelessness throughout the community. Many community organizations used the study session to explain their actions to help with the ongoing homeless issue. Shell Knob man injured in bike wreck

A Shell Knob man was injured on June 22 in a wreck at 7:25 p.m. on Farm Road 1230, one mile west of Shell Knob. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Garrett Brixey, 29, of Shell Knob, was driving a 2007 Yamaha V-Star 650 westbound when his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

Proposed Jellystone annexation generates discussion

Forsyth officials are in discussions to annex a piece of property into the city limits. The property, which is currently undeveloped agricultural land, runs adjacent to Highway 76 East in front of Jellystone Branson Camp Resort. The new owners of Jellystone, Great Escape RV Resorts, recently purchased the property with plans on development.

Stone County bank under new ownership

Table Rock Community Bank is under new ownership. Alton Bancshares Inc, a bank holding company out of Alton, Missouri and First Community Bank of the Ozarks in Branson announced in a press release on Tuesday, June 14, they had completed the acquisition of Table Rock Community Bank, which is located in Kimberling City. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed to the public.
