Golden State won another championship this year, an accomplishment which some have speculated diminishes Durant's impact on the team. Draymond Green thinks that's nonsense.

Second suspect busted in broad-daylight slaying of NYC man: cops

A second suspect has been nabbed in connection to the broad-daylight Bronx slaying of a 29-year-old man earlier this month, authorities said.  Jose Chavez, 21, was busted and charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of weapon for his role in the 11:30 a.m. deadly shooting of Rafael Jimenez on June 7, cops said.  Jimenez, of Brooklyn, was standing on Walton Avenue near East 183rd Street in Fordham Heights when three males got out of a black Volkswagen and approached him, police said.  One of them then opened fire, striking the man in the head, authorities said. Jimenez was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, cops said. A 15-year-old boy was also nabbed in connection to the deadly shooting last week, police said. Frustrated NYC detectives leaving ‘insane’ NYPD, have ‘had enough’

More than 100 NYPD detectives have retired in June — and another 75 plan to put their papers in next month — as many become frustrated by revolving-door justice and rules that hamstring them in the Big Apple, officials and detectives told The Post. “That’s going to have a major impact on investigating crimes,” Detectives Endowment Association president Paul DiGiacomo said. “The detective squads are down now as we speak and are investigating more cases. It’s going to have an impact on public safety.” So far this year, 250 detectives have retired, leaving the total number at about 5,600, which is nearly...

The umpire for Tuesday night's AL battle between the Yankees and Oakland A's called one of the worst strikes you'll ever see with Judge at the plate in the bottom of the third. It wasn't even close, either.

Man Steals Back His Stolen Rolls-Royce Dawn

Car thieves continue to go shopping at dealerships and even people’s homes for whatever vehicle they want like there are zero consequences. While some are met with the wrong end of a gun, others see little resistance and even if caught get off with light sentences, if any at all. This helps explain why a group of crooks broke into a nice Staten Island home in New York at 4 am on June 12, then drove off with the owner’s Rolls-Royce Dawn Drophead. While the guy didn’t blow the thieves away, he did get his car back almost immediately.

One voter, Ed Gavin, 62, arrived at his Bronx polling site in Spuyten Duyvil around 8:15 a.m. to cast his vote for GOP gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino but after checking in with a poll worker, he was handed a Democratic ballot instead, he said. “My party never came up, my political preferences were never discussed … I opened the sleeve and I saw the names of Tom Suozzi, Kathy Hochul and Jumaane...
