The National Weather Service in Paducah is calling for periods of heavy rain that could become severe in spots, and spur spot flooding as well. A storm system arriving tonight will lead to periods of showers and thunderstorms this evening through Wednesday night, possibly lingering into Thursday. Suspect: Brian Ross, 49, of Paducah, arrested on a charge of first-degree assault and tampering with physical evidence. Paducah Police were called to the 2200 block of Eulah Street in regards to a stabbing. Officers found the victim with an apparent stab wound to the chest. They learned the victim walked there from Thurman Street where the incident occurred. Officers rendered aid, and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he received treatment for significant injuries. The victim stated a man named Brian was the person who stabbed him.
