Boerne police arrest 5 people after string of overnight car burglaries

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Boerne police have arrested five people in connection with a series of overnight car burglaries in three different subdivisions within their city. As of early Monday morning, they had received more than a dozen reports of car break-ins in Boerne Heights, Kendall Creek Estates and the Woods of Frederick Creek, as well as one home burglary.

Dripping Springs Distilling celebrates new venue

The Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of Dripping Springs Distilling’s Tasting Bar and Event Hall with a ribbon cutting last week. Dripping Springs Distilling was the first distillery in the Hill Country and has gone on to produce award-winning, small-batch vodkas, gins and bourbons. In August of 2021, the business expanded to include Distillers Bar, offering tours and tastings, and Distillers Hall, for weddings and special events.
