Central Missouri offensive line transfer Dominick Puni has officially enrolled in classes at KU and is now on campus, a source confirms Phog.net. Holden Man Dies in Tractor Accident

A Holden man died in a tractor accident that occurred Wednesday in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a John Deere, driven by 90-year-old William E. Brunner of Holden, was on Route TT, east of SW 1821 Road, (southwest of Kingsville) sometime after 2 p.m. Wednesday, when the tractor ran off the right side of the road, struck a fence and rolled down an embankment, ejecting the driver. The tractor came to rest in a creek bed.

Gary Allen Thomas, 70, of Lone Jack passed away June 28, 2022 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Visitation will be Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. A memorial service will also be on Sunday at the funeral home at 2:00 pm. Burial will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Friendless. Injuries avoided in Warrensburg commercial building fire, sprinkler system credited

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – An automatic sprinkler system is being credited with keeping a fire at bay at a local business yesterday. According to a social media post by the Johnson County Emergency Management Agency, crews from Warrensbug Fire Department were dispatched to a commercial structural fire around 12:12 p.m. in the Rise Community Services warehouse on North Ridgeway Road. The fire was reportedly contained in the east warehouse building, in part to the activation of the automatic fire sprinkler and actions taken by first responders.

Today the Butler Senior Center was honored to celebrate Stacey and Erma Hutton 65th wedding anniversary. This celebration was a surprise to the Hutton’s. They went to the Butler Senior Center to have a meatloaf dinner and play in a puzzle tournament. Just a normal day of having lunch at the Butler Senior Center.
