BRAINERD, Minn. — Officials in northern Minnesota are asking for the public's help locating a vulnerable adult. According to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office, 50-year-old Nathan A. Pochardt, of Bemidji, was reported missing Monday, June 27 at around 8 p.m. Officials say they consider Pochardt vulnerable "due to his current mental health and threats of suicide."

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Bemidji Police were dispatched at 6:25pm on Sunday evening to Cameron Park for a report of an attempted abduction. Two juvenile females told police they were walking down the paved entrance road into the park when they were approached by a younger male who asked them to walk into the woods to look at a snake.

Officers were called to the scene and spoke with two juvenile girls who said they were walking down a paved entrance to the park when they were approached by a man who asked them to walk into the woods to look at a snake. As the juveniles spoke with him they became nervous and began to walk away. He followed them and at one point wrapped his arm around one of the females and attempted to pick her up. Both juveniles started to scream which caused the male to let go and run away from the area.

The suspect approached the two girls and asked them to look at a snake in the woods. The juveniles reportedly became nervous while talking with him and started to walk away. The stranger put his arm around one of the females at one point. Upon attempting to pick her up, both girls screamed. The screams caused the suspect to let go of the girl and run away to the northwest of Cameron Park.
