Osage Nation Education Department Offering ACT Prep Course

The Osage Nation Education Department will be holding an ACT prep workshop next Thursday in Hominy. Osage and JOM students in middle and high school are eligible to attend. Students will be able to take a practice test, get information about FAFSA and gain knowledge in financial literacy. Students can register by calling 918-287-5300. Demo, Repair Work to be Completed on County-owned Building

The Board of Osage County Commissioners convened for a regularly scheduled meeting at the fairgrounds on Monday morning. At that meeting, the Board accepted a quote from Tulsa Landmark to do some demo and repair work at a county-owned building located at 212 E. 6th Street in Pawhuska. That quote came in at just over $5,800. This is something that the Planning and Zoning and E-911 Departments have requested.

Pawhuska High holds indoor graduation for Class of 2022

Superintendent David Cash counseled the Pawhuska High School graduates of 2022 to find occupations that will provide a sense of purpose. PHS held its graduation in the field house rather than outdoors at the football stadium, as a result of a threat of rainy weather. The Class of 2022 consisted of 46 graduates. The indoor arena was filled to capacity.
