Amy Jo Muehler, 49, of rural Cole Camp, MO, formerly of Norborne, MO, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, MO, with Rev. Michael Pottschmidt and Rev. Andrew Lehenbauer officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Graveside services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hankinson, ND. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, MO in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Missouri man sentenced to 15 Years in prison for three bank robberies

A Missouri man was sentenced in federal court on Thursday for robbing three banks within a period of about a month in Lee’s Summit, Kansas City, and Odessa. Hubert J. Holmes, 61, of Independence, was sentenced by U.S. Chief District Judge Beth Phillips to 15 years in federal prison without parole. Holmes was sentenced as a career offender.

Norborne resident held without bond following hospital altercation

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. – A Norborne resident is held without bond for an incident at Hedrick Medical Center. The Chillicothe Police Department indicate at around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, 52-year-old Kent A. Milligan allegedly made threats towards a doctor at the hospital. An investigation into the matter resulted in a Livingston County warrant being issued. Milligan was arrested later on a felony terrorist threat in Lafayette County.
