Deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office responded to an ATV injury accident on Sunday in a Dollar General parking lot.

Authorities were called to a place on W. Clay Road in Grant Township, just north of Rothbury around 3:20 p.m. Friday to help paramedics with a boy who wasn’t breathing.

The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury accident on Saturday. The accident occurred at the intersection of Perry Avenue and 215th Avenue in Big Rapids Township.

It was a different venue but still lots of fun and memories shared as the Mecosta County Hall of Fame inducted four new members and the Oldtimer softball team conducted its annual game against the high school all-stars on Sunday.

Life-long Morley resident Ron Irwin will have a home in the Mecosta County Hall of Fame on Sunday. Irwin will be among four new inductees into the Hall at ceremonies starting between 6:30 and 7 p.m. at Big Rapids' Vogel Field.

MARTINY TOWNSHIP — A two-vehicle accident near Rodney sent three individuals to the hospital Thursday afternoon. According to a news release from the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office, at 3:34 p.m. Thursday, June 30, deputies responded to a personal injury accident on 120th Avenue (M-20) near 13 Mile Road, south of Rodney, in Martiny Township.
