The available boat ramps at McConaughy will be: Lemoyne low water, Martin Bay low water and Burma Road/Diver’s Bay. Two boat ramps will be open at Lake Ogallala.

A good day for a swim lesson

Weston Gertsch smiles at City of Grant Lifeguard Bella Fraizer after he successfully jumped off of the diving board during swimming lessons at the Grant City Pool on Monday, June 13. It was a perfect day to be in the pool, as temperatures soared to 103 degrees during the day, according to the National Weather Service. There were a total of 26 kids signed up for lessons this week at the pool, with 14 lifeguards assisting. This is the first round of lessons for this summer at the pool. Another round will be held on July 11-15. Registrations are now being taken. Private lessons are also available. For more information, contact the Grant City Pool at 308-352-4217.
