Brick teen charged for bomb threats on Point Pleasant Boardwalk that forced evacuations

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ – The Point Pleasant Beach Police Department announced the arrest of Nkosi Jones, 19 years of age, from Brick, NJ. After an investigation conducted by detectives from this department, Nkosi Jones was charged with two counts of False Public Alarm, a second-degree crime, and two counts of Terroristic Threats, a third-degree crime for calling in two separate bomb threats on the Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk.

The victim claimed that he received notice from NJ Unemployment concerning his application. The victim conveyed that he had not applied for unemployment benefits and that an unknown actor filed fictitiously using his personal information.

At Least 3 Hospitalized After Jersey Shore Rush-Hour Crash

Firefighters, police and EMS crews in Ocean County responded to a serious rush-hour crash, authorities said. Several people suffered multiple injuries in the collision shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday, reports said. The crash occurred on the 1600 block of County Road 539 in Stafford Township. according to initial reports.

Two Arrested For Heroin And Drug Paraphernalia

LAKEHURST – A motor vehicle stop leads to the arrest of two people after police find heroin and drug paraphernalia in their car. On June 16, Officer Anthony Florio pulled over driver Paul Rein, 54, of Keansburg, with Beatrice Rein, 54, of Hazlet, in the passenger seat. Once stopped, Florio, along with assistance from Officer Gavin Cecchini and Officer Harry Paul, found drug paraphernalia out in plain sight inside the car.

Royal Farms to open another N.J. store

Royal Farms will continue its New Jersey expansion with another location in the Garden State. The convenience store is coming to Brick and will be located at 900 Route 70. An opening date has yet to be announced, but it’s one of two new stores listed in the “Coming Soon” section of Royal Farms’ website.
