Two people shot in Hazelwood

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two people were injured an overnight shooting in Pittsburgh's Hazelwood neighborhood.Officers responded to the scene along Johnston Avenue just before 1 a.m.Police say gunshots came from a dark sedan in the area, but no other descriptions of a suspect or suspects were provided.One of the two people injured was taken to the hospital by paramedics and was last listed in critical condition.The other victim was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle, also listed in critical condition. Stay with KDKA-TV and for updates to this developing story as they become available.

Greensburg laundromat damaged by fire

A fire at a closed Greenburg laundromat late Thursday night damaged a dryer and spread smoke throughout the building. The fire at Nu-Way laundromat on Highland Avenue, which was reported at 11 p.m., caused an unknown amount of damage, said Tamara Zimmers, owner of the laundromat, which is adjacent to the Greensburg Shopping Center.
