The Superior City Council is pumping the brakes on a proposed trial run for a traffic camera system; but, that doesn't mean that the plan is dead. The suggested trial would have happened in June. Races got underway last weekend at Halvor Lines Speedway in Proctor, a month later than normal, but the excitement was still in the air as racers and fans alike were excited that races are back for the season. Last Sunday close to 90 cars showed up at the track ready to go.

DULUTH, MN-- After Duluth struggled to hire lifeguards, a pay raise of nearly double what they were previously offering finally helped recruit enough people to keep families safe this summer. As of April, the Duluth YMCA hadn’t seen a single person apply to be a lifeguard on Park Point.
