Nebraska DMV reveals new driver license and ID card design to advance security measures to prevent fraud

The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles announced at a press conference Wednesday that it will begin issuing new driver's licenses and state ID cards this month. The new license and ID cards have new designs and colors that represent the state's natural and manmade features. On the front of each card are jail and courthouse rocks near Bridgeport, which highlight the rural prairies of Nebraska and the state capitol building and skyline of downtown Lincoln, which highlight the urban centers of eastern Nebraska.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – 27th & ‘O’ streets, 70th & Pine Lake Road and 27th & Highway 2 rank as the top three intersections with the highest amount of crashes in Lincoln. Lincoln police searching for man after he steals 19-year old woman's car

Police are searching for a suspect in a robbery that occurred June 15. Heat Advisories will be in effect for much of Nebraska again on Thursday as heat index values between 100° and 108° will be possible.
