BYU football coach Kalani Sitake hires a recruiting coordinator, also brings back this former defensive star

Some familiar faces are returning to BYU to join football coach Kalani Sitake’s support staff, including one of the best defensive players in school history. Sitake announced on Friday that four-year starting defensive lineman Jan Jorgensen, who finished his eligibility in 2009 as the Mountain West Conference’s all-time leader in sacks (28.5), has been hired as a defensive analyst. Jorgensen coached the last three seasons at Snow College in Ephraim.

2022 JUCO DB Mory Bamba Commits to BYU

BYU added the last piece to their 2022 recruiting class with JUCO defensive back Mory Bamba announcing his commitment to BYU. Bamba received his first FBS offer from BYU at the beginning of the month. He also received offers from Utah State, Incarnate Word, Austin Peay, and Presbyterian College. Bamba took official visits to Utah State and BYU.
