Hundreds of people came out to Bend's Drake Park Saturday afternoon with lots of smiles, colorful clothing, and rainbow flags. There was entertainment, vendor booths and plenty of activities. Teen from Sunriver reported missing, believed to be in danger
The Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division, asked the public Friday to help find Mercedes “Bow” Dunnington, 16, a child in foster care who went missing from Sunriver on Thursday. She is believed to be in danger, the agency said.

280 players taking part in the Deschoops 3 x 3 Basketball Tournament in downtown Bend
Some roads in downtown Bend were closed for the Deschoops basketball 3 by 3 tournament Saturday morning. The streets were lined with basketball hoops for the inaugural event. Bend Woman Killed In Klamath County Crash
CHILOQUIN, OR -- A Bend woman was killed in an overnight crash on Highway 97 in Klamath County. According to OSP, a pickup collided head-on with an SUV driven by 35-year-old Cybil Nelson of Bend. Both vehicles were destroyed by the resulting fire; Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Central Oregon's amateur operators staged Ham Radio Field Day Saturday in Sisters and La Pine. People were able to learn more about the hobby from the High Desert Amateur Radio Group.
