Great white shark caught off New Jersey's Seaside Heights Pier, released by fishermen

A party of sport fisherman off the coast of Seaside Heights Pier in New Jersey caught and released a great white shark, or simply a white shark, on Sunday. The boat, Reel Innovation Sportfishing, which docks in Harvey Cedars, was about a mile of the coast when the catch occurred, said Paul Kaufman at Fishermen's Headquarters in Ship Bottom. The shop was first to report the catch of one of the ocean's apex predators.

Lakewood man stopped with 7 unbuckled kids was DWI police say

LAKEHURST, NJ – A Lakewood man has been charged for DWI and having seven unrestrained children in his vehicle while driving through Lakehurst police say. According to the Lakehurst Police Department, on June 5, 2021, at approximately 11:16 PM, Officer Gavin Cecchini was on patrol and conducted a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle that was driving erratically. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Paulino Rosendo-Camargo, was exhibiting signs of being under the influence of alcohol.
