TORONTO -- For a three-game series that starts in Toronto on Monday night, the Red Sox will be without two players who have been key cogs to their June surge in righty Tanner Houck and center fielder Jarren Duran, who were both placed on the restricted list.

Bennett made headlines back in October when he put Garoppolo on blast for sitting out the Patriots' 2016 Week 4 matchup with the Buffalo Bills due to a left shoulder injury.

MA police release names of teens who died in car crash

Massachusetts State Police on Monday released the names of the three teenagers who died in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend. Vincent J. Ardizzoni, 17, of Holland, Shane M. Douglas, 18, of West Brookfield, and Dominick P. Gardner, 17, of Oxford died in the crash reported at about 1 a.m. Sunday in Brimfield. Police have said that Ardizzoni was believed to be driving.

Before opening a three-game series against the Blue Jays in Toronto on Monday, the Red Sox placed closer Tanner Houck and outfielder Jarren Duran on the restricted list. To take their place on the major-league roster, right-hander Connor Seabold and infielder Yolmer Sanchez were called up from Triple-A Worcester, the team announced.

Teenage Girl Goes Missing, Lowell Police Say

Police in Lowell, Massachusetts, are looking for a missing 16-year-old girl who may either be in the Lowell area or in Framingham. Rhaissa DeSouza is 5-foot-2 with brown hair and eyes, according to the Lowell Police Department. She was last seen in a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and light pink Nike Air sneakers.

Family sues Boston police for wrongful death

BOSTON (WHDH) - A civil rights lawsuit was filed on behalf of the family of Shayne Stilphen for his wrongful death while in custody of the Boston Police Department. Stilphen suffered an overdose while in police custody in July 2019, which the family alleges was preventable and that the officers failed to provide Stilphen with life-saving medical care until it was too late.

Red Sox Announce Roster Moves Before Series Opener In Toronto

The surging Boston Red Sox will open their three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday evening, but before doing so the club announced a handful of roster moves. The Red Sox placed both right-handed pitcher Tanner Houck and outfielder Jarren Duran on the restricted list while recalling right-hander Connor Seabold from Triple-A Worcester. Boston also elevated infielder Yolmer Sánchez to its active major league roster from Triple-A Worcester.

Discovering the thrill of playing and creating with mud at the EcoTarium

WORCESTER — Kids got down and and dirty by creating mud pies and mud paintings, and playing mud games during Mud Day at the EcoTarium on Saturday. Children of all ages took part in muddy activities at the science and nature museum that included making mud, playing with mud, stories about mud, making mud and clay sculptures and other artwork, the science of mud, mud games, and a barefoot sensory walk through, well, mud.

We did need the rain today…and, if it’s going to rain, no better day than a Monday! Rainfall reports were hit-n-miss (as usual during the warm season) with Nashua only picking up 0.06″ but Mansfield over 1.00″ of rain! The showers and downpours will fade this evening from north to south…taking into the overnight hours on the Cape before diminishing. On to Taco Tuesday!
