KILMARNOCK—For all those skeptics and non-believers, Valarie Turner of Kilmarnock is proof positive that Publishers Clearing House (PCH) is not a scam. Turner was lying on her sofa about 10:30 a.m. last Tuesday, watching “Let’s Make a Deal” in between her morning and mid-day summer school bus runs, when she got a knock at the door. Turner wasn’t expecting company. And she surely wasn’t expecting what was on the other side of her front door—Dave Sayer and Howie Guja, the PCH Prize Patrol, there to present her a $20,000 check.

If you see low-flying aircraft in July, it could be NASA

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. — NASA plans to fly aircraft over the Interstate 95 corridor from Washington to Baltimore and into Virginia. The flights will support an atmospheric study in the Mid-Atlantic region between July 5 and 16. Four-engine turboprop P-3 aircraft based at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia will fly five days during the 12-day period at altitudes from 1,000 to 10,000 feet.
