Sheriff makes arrests for FTA, possession of synthetic cannabinoids

The Perquimans Sheriff’s Office made the following recent arrests: • Brandon Skinner, of the 100 block of Parker Lane, Hertford, was arrested June 20 and charged with failure to appear in court on charges of driving while license revoked. A $1,000 secured bond was set. • Josha Arnold, of the 70 block of Jackson St., Plymouth, was arrested June 21 and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and driving while license revoked. A $12,000 unsecured bond was set. • William Seagle, of the 1400 block of Ocean Highway, Hertford, was arrested June 23 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $4,000 secured bond was set.

Purpose of God Annex held a ribbon cutting June 18 for its Miracle Meals operation located at 712 River Road in Washington. The event, led by POGA founder Bishop Samuel Jones Jr. and Mother Regina Jones, was held in memory of late benefactors Tom Robinson and Alan and Susan Stancil.
