WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — On Wednesday, June 29, the Wichita Police Department requested the public’s assistance in a welfare check for four people. Police were looking for two adults and two children. They have since been found.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Update: The Wichita Police Department reports two women and two small children, reported missing, have been found and are safe. The Wichita Police Department asks for the public’s help in its search for two women and two small children last seen Saturday in the 1800 block of North Hillside.

WPD looking for runaway boy

Wichita police are asking for help finding a 12-year-old boy who ran away from home Wednesday night. Dewey Olivera-Greer was last seen around 11pm, in the 2000 block of South St. Clair. That’s in a neighborhood to the north of Pawnee and Meridian. Dewey was last seen wearing gray shorts and a gray shirt with “dibs” on the front. He is described as being 5-feet-2-inches tall, weighing 100-pounds.

Wichita Woman Arrested In Ark City Investigation Into Counterfeit Bills

A Wichita woman was arrested Saturday following an Ark City Police investigation into counterfeit bills. Her arrest followed a pursuit that ended in Derby. 31-year-old Angela Jolynn Smith-Rael has been booked into the Cowley County Jail on counts of manufacturing counterfeit currency and theft. Her bond is set at $25,000 and she remained in jail Wednesday.

More coffee is coming to Wichita when Dutch Bros. arrives in town. The drive-thru coffee shop chain based out of Grants Pass, Oregon is slated for a July 8 opening. WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The City of Wichita confirms charges against an airport authority officer for computer crimes. The city said the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office charged Wichita Airport Authority Officer/Firefighter LT.
