IMPD warns of serial sexual assaulter targeting women in Indy, Lawrence

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are looking for a serial sexual assaulter targeting women in Indianapolis and Lawrence. According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the man is connected to at least five cases on the east side of Indianapolis and one case in Lawrence that span over the past year. Police say there seems to be a pattern in the way he gets the attention of his victims.

8 families displaced by apartment fire on the city’s west side

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Fire Department responded to an apartment fire Friday evening that caused eight families to be displaced. Crews responded to a large fire reported in the 900 block of Broken Bow Trail in the Ten West Apartment Complex on the city’s west side. The large fire required nearly 40 minutes to get under control, causing the roof to collapse.

Herman Edward Craig, 96, Greenfield, passed away on June 16, 2021 at his residence. Herman was born on March 22, 1925 in Byrdstown, TN to Winburn and Sarah (Storie) Craig. He was a 1944 graduate of Wilkinson High School. Herman worked in farm machinery as a parts manager, retiring in 1982, he had been a member of the Charlottesville LIONS Club. In his eighties, Herman became a member of the staff of McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Herman was an avid camper, and enjoyed many camping trips with his wife, children and grandchildren.
