Man gets over four years in prison for Becker County assault

Christopher Lee Rogers, 46, of rural Ogema, has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony second-degree assault. According to court records, on Oct. 17, 2020, officers were called to a rural Becker County home after Rogers hit a young man in the face. The victim told officers he had been given a ride there by a friend to collect a debt from the property owner. He was hit in the face by Rogers before he could get out of the car. Rogers hit him in the face again, and the victim noticed a large blade in Rogers’ hand.
