David Signor won $14 million after scratching a winning $10,000 a week for life ticket he bought at the Boonville Sunoco May 28. He plans to use his new found winnings to take care of his parents and his two children. Signor says he also wants to spend more time enjoying fishing and hunting and less time working.

32 households benefitted from Lewis County grant programs ending this month

LOWVILLE — Goals were met by the two housing-related programs supported by Community Development Block Grants that will come to an official close at the end of this month. In the Lewis County Board’s June meeting, Snowbelt Housing Executive Director Jaylyn Haemes gave a final accounting of the two programs during public hearings, as required by the grant, to allow the public to comment on what was accomplished.
