Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign off to good start

Maj. Brian Reed said the Midland Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle campaign is off to a good start, with $21,000 raised through Dec. 4. With about 17 bell ringing days — and about 1,700 hours — left until the campaign ends at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24, the ultimate goal is to raise $100,000, Reed said.

BAY CITY, Mich. – Bay City celebrated its second annual Drive-thru Santa event for children throughout the city. Kids was given the opportunity to receive free presents from Santa, all from the comfort of a vehicle.
