WOODBURY COUNTY, Iowa — Woodbury County is moving forward with plans to build a new law enforcement center. Monday, June 14th, the county's Law Enforcement Center Authority accepted a $58.39 million bid from Hausmann Construction of Norfolk to build that new facility on 28th Street in Sioux City across from Lake Forest Mobile Home Park.

SIOUX CITY -- Seven years ago, there were two Teslas registered in all of Northwest Iowa. Both in Woodbury County. Today, Woodbury County has 20 registered Teslas, double the number of just two years ago, while all other counties in the region have at least a handful of them, according to Iowa Department of Transportation data.
