Hale celebrates kindergarten graduation

HALE – Kindergarten Graduation is a big celebration for the kids. They get to celebrate their accomplishments and all they have learned. All the parents were so ecstatic about seeing their children in their little robes and cap walking to get their little diplomas. All the kids, teachers, and parents were smiling the whole graduation. Mrs. Badgerow and Mrs. Ming had wonderful speeches about how much all the kids improved though the whole school year.

Michigan Drownings Higher Than Normal

Male volunteers needed for Hospice of Michigan in Alpena

ALPENA, MI. – Hospice of Michigan is asking the people of Alpena to help… Specifically, men. People in hospice facing a life limiting illness need support. Volunteers through Hospice of Michigan provide compassion to these patients and families. In Alpena, 90 percent of those volunteers are women. The nonprofit does its best to pair hospice volunteers to fit patients needs. However, with such little male volunteers, this can be difficult.
