Marfa man found guilty on Meth Possession charges

PECOS, Texas — A Marfa man was found guilty by a federal jury in Pecos last week for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine. 63-year-old Stephen Brunson was stopped for a traffic violation and arrested for Class C offenses involving the license plate and temporary permit displayed on the vehicle he was driving according to court documents.

TransPecos Bank donates $10K to Coyanosa library

The Powerball jackpot will rise to an estimated $279 million for Saturday night's drawing after no matched all six numbers Wednesday, according to the Powerball website.  While no one hit the jackpot, one ticket sold in Texas matched all five white balls to win $1 million.
