WHEATON, Minn. — Timely rains. These will be vital for a farming season that is generally dry, says Vaughn Maudal, who farms with his family in the Wheaton, Minn., area. Maudal, 57, and his wife, Julie, raise corn and soybeans. The Vaughns are backed by sons, Cameron, 25, and Carson, 23. Gary teen killed in Grant Co. crash

MILBANK – A Gary teen has been identified as the person who died Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash southeast of Milbank. Preliminary information indicates that a 2008 Buick Lucerne was southbound on 482nd Avenue at about 2:45 p.m. when it crossed the center line into the northbound lane and collided with a northbound 2014 Kenworth T800 semi-truck and trailer.
