Two motorcycles crash seconds apart injuring four

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports serious injuries to the driver and passenger of a motorcycle that crashed in Richland County on Saturday. Authorities say a 47 year old West Fargo man lost control of the bike on Highway 26 around 3:30 p.m. The driver and a 51 year old female passenger from West Fargo were thrown as the motorcycle rolled an unknown number of times. Both were transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

Names released in Richland County motorcycle crash that injured 4

WALCOTT, N.D. — Four motorcyclists were injured following a pair of crashes which took place Saturday evening, June 12, along County Road 26 a half-mile north of Walcott. In the first crash, a 47-year-old driver Robert Stephens Jr., and 51-year-old passenger Tracy Stephens, both from West Fargo, overturned their motorcycle several times after negotiating a right turn. Both were not wearing helmets and suffered serious injuries.

Teenage girl rescued from car, electrocution risk

Teamwork between a trapped 16-year-old girl and law enforcement helped save her from serious injury when rains and winds swept the Southern Red River Valley Monday, June 7. Rich Schock, fire chief for Kindred, North Dakota, declined to further identify the girl beyond saying she was a resident of the area.
