WHEELING – Fairmont Senior’s regular season schedule was a veritable who’s who of playoff teams. Between Sept. 17 and Oct. 22 the Polar Bears, working around a three-week layoff, played Bridgeport (losing 35-28), No. 4 University (losing 35-6) and No. 8 Spring Valley (losing 21-0). Volleyball Completes Sweep in First Round of Atlantic Regional Tournament

Wheeling, W. Va. – The Wheeling University Volleyball team (28-5, 15-1) opened their run in the NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Tournament when they battled #8 Fayetteville State. Wheeling was able to pick up the sweep, with wins of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-18. They now preparing to face #4 Edinboro in the semifinals on Friday at 7:30 pm.

Bordas Drops 35 As Park Opens With A Win At JM

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. (WTRF) – Heralded Wheeling Park freshman Alexis Bordas opened her high school career with a strong performance Thursday night at the Moundsville Fieldhouse. Volleyball Set to Open Regional Tournament Play

Va. - After capturing the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Championship earlier this season, the Wheeling University Volleyball team (27-5, 15-1) begins their road to Tampa in the 2021 NCAA Division II Volleyball Atlantic Regional Championship tournament.
