Funeral services for George William Parker, age 66, of Lovilia, will be held Tuesday, June 22nd beginning at 3:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M., at the Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville. George’s family will be present to greet friends and relatives at 3:00 P.M. and Officiating will start at 4:00 P.M. Celebration of life to follow in Bussey at The Gym. George’s wishes were to be cremated and ashes spread in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. A memorial has been established in George’s memory to his family. Condolences may be sent to The Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville is in charge of the arrangements.

Shirley Ann Stevens, 81, died May 26, 2021 at her home in Sigourney. She was born May 18, 1940 to Ralph and Mildred (Sage) Wymore in Oskaloosa. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1957. On April 19, 1958 she married Allen Stevens in Oskaloosa. They lived on a farm near Delta until 2014 then moved to their home in Sigourney. Throughout the years Shirley worked at Big Smith, University of Iowa Hospital, and Louis Rich. Later she delivered Meals on Wheels in her spare time. She was once a part of a bowling league. What she enjoyed the most in life was watching grandchildren in her home and attending their sporting events, and going to Riverside.
